Application The hydrostatically driven snow tiller is used to loosen tightly compacted pistes, to break up large lumps of snow and ice and to mix old and new snow. It produces a deep-down regeneration of the pistes and a most durable surface excellent for skiing. Operation Two cutting shafts are turned by a drive in the centre. Independently of the travel speed, the shafts rotate at 450 to 1,800 rpm. From the driver's seat the shafts can be adjusted to turn forwards and backwards and the height above the ground can be set hydraulically. The low mass of the machine enables it to work on steep slopes. Even compaction is ensured by the finishers, thanks to 3 rows of teeth of different hardness that work well on awkward pistes with diagonal and longitudinal waves and adjust perfectly to the terrain. The side finishers prevent the build up of side embankments and ensure a perfect transition in the case of overlapping grooming. The modular construction permits a simple and quick change of various cutting shafts as well as the exchange of all components. Design Attachment frame with retaining head for easy connection and disconnection of the rapid change system. Cutter frame in light-weight extruded aluminium (Aluminium-Strengpreßprofil) with snow-repellent plastic covering. Cutter shaft cover as plastic hollow section. Upper side snow-repellent, lower side designed for optimum snow flow-through. Finisher and side finisher with 3 toothed rows of different hardness. Two identically made cutter shafts for rapid changeovers. Different cutter shafts depending on the type of snow and usage. Centre drive, up to 150 HP performance, maximum torque 731 Nm. |
