Lisa Zimmermann is the first reigning world champion PistenBully has sponsored. The 20-year-old freestyler will also be wearing the PistenBully logo for the next 2 years.
Alongside Olympic skicrosser Daniel Bohnacker, Kässbohrer is now supporting another Olympic qualifier from Sochi: Lisa Zimmermann. The German freestyle skier has racked up a few successes already in her 20 years: as the reigning slopestyle world champion, she is a member of the German Ski Association national freestyle team. She has already won the Nine Queens three times, the overall World Cup 2013/14 and a gold medal at the World Championships in 2015. She also stood at the top of the podium at the last BigAir in Milan. It's no surprise that she's the first woman to achieve a "double 12" with double overhead rotation and three-and-a-half fold twist - her sporting roots ultimately lie in figure skating.
Achievements that also impressed the folks at Kässbohrer. Lisa is just as impressed by PistenBully's commitment to the next generation of talent: youth development is something she's passionate about too. So they're both pleased at having signed the contract: with PistenBully as a sponsor Lisa Zimmermann is well set-up for the next two seasons.
The PistenBully team wish her every success and our fingers are crossed - especially for the 2018 Olympics! And successful jumps much sooner at the BigAir in Aspen and Oslo!
