In addition to the Nordic World Championships in Falun, Sweden, PistenBully is now also the official supplier to the Biathlon World Championships in Kontiolahti, Finland.
This marks the 37th time the competition for the Biathlon World Cup has been held. The Biathlon World Championships 2015 in Kontiolahti, Finland, are the highlight of the season. The top biathletes from around the world will meet there from 4th to 15th March 2015. After 1990 and 1999, this will be the third time the small town in eastern Finland has played host to the Biathlon World Championships. The preparations are now well underway. The event is being organised by the Kontiolahti Sport Club, supported by 3 PistenBully 100, the professional track setter from Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeug AG. In addition to preparing the cross-country tracks, the PistenBully 100 are also being used to prepare and maintain smaller slopes and for the area around the shooting range.
