On October 16, Kässbohrer's New England branch officially opened its doors to customers from all over the Northeast region of the United States. An estimated 90 groomers from near and far attended the Grand Opening Pig Roast and BBQ in Auburn, Maine. Attendees left with full bellies, impressed by the enhanced capabilities of the new facility.
Kässbohrer New England staff stepped away from their normal responsibilities and played the role of proud tour guides throughout the day. Tours generally started with a walk-around the new outdoor storage space, roughly 3 times larger than that of the previous facility. The space is now home to machines ready to be delivered, tillers, tracks, snow buckets and attachments. Next came a walk through of the new service bays, offices, meeting center and parts storage. The indoor space is 7,000 square ft (650 square meters) larger than the previous facility, providing a more comfortable work environment for Kässbohrer employees and vastly improved space for servicing machines and storing parts.
The day was not without festivities. Lost Valley Brewing Company provided great local beer and visitors all sat down to enjoy the BBQ. A large raffle of PistenBully logoed goods ensured that no participant left empty handed. As we now look back at the event, we are proud to have the facility up and running as well as thankful to all who participated in the great day!
