With the handover of the 2,000th LevelRed-generation PistenBully 600 to Switzerland’s Saastal Bergbahnen AG, Kässbohrer has reached a very special milestone. This anniversary vehicle represents the innovative spirit, passion and commitment of the many people who have shaped the success of the PistenBully 600 over the decades.
The number 2,000 represents much more than a production milestone. It reflects the trust of customers around the world and the dedication of colleagues across Development, Purchasing, Production, Service, Sales and Administration, who contribute every day to making PistenBully a benchmark for quality, efficiency and reliability.
The PistenBully 600 was launched in 2005. Developed from the ground up, it marked a major milestone in the evolution of snow grooming. Now in its third generation, it has become a symbol of Kässbohrer’s success and an important ambassador for the brand on ski slopes around the world.
“Building 2,000 vehicles of one generation is anything but a matter of course. It is a clear sign that the vehicle has been extremely well received by the market and provides our customers with reliable support in their day-to-day snow grooming operations. This milestone is the result of the passion, expertise and daily commitment of our employees. Together, they have written the success story of the PistenBully 600 and continue to add to it every single day. That is something we can all be proud of,” says Heiko Stähle, Chief Sales & Administration Officer (CSO) of Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeug AG.
The fact that this milestone vehicle is being delivered to Saastal Bergbahnen AG makes the occasion even more special. Saas-Fee is one of Europe’s best-known Alpine destinations, renowned for its demanding year-round operations, outstanding slope quality and modern grooming concepts. Kässbohrer and Saastal Bergbahnen have enjoyed a close and trusted partnership for many years.
“Saas-Fee and PistenBully share a long-standing partnership built on trust and cooperation at eye level. Saas-Fee stands for first-class slope conditions, made possible by the daily commitment of our team and by machines we can rely on. The PistenBully 600 has proven itself over many years in the demanding conditions of our glacier ski area. We are therefore particularly proud to take delivery of the 2,000th LevelRed-generation PistenBully 600. It represents a very special milestone in our partnership,” says Simon Bumann, CEO of Saastal Bergbahnen AG.
For Kässbohrer, the handover of this milestone vehicle is also an incentive to keep looking ahead.
